BP Caught Altering Images of Oil Spill Process

Could BP be anymore ridiculous? BP was recently caught altering images on it’s website with no other than photoshop. A picture that was posted over the weekend showed workers in it’s Gulf oil spill command center in Houston monitoring video from it’s underwater cameras. A blogger at Americablog discovered that the image had been ‘photoshopped’ when he noticed very shoddy layers overlapping the image.
In the real image, two of the monitors were blank. The altered image showed the two blank screens with two new layers of images underwater. Apparently, BP decided that the two unused monitors was not good for PR. Their reputation is dead in the water anyways along with all the wildlife they have killed. They just keep on burying themselves. BP spokesperson, Scott Dean, came out and said the image was altered to make the photo “more panoramic.” BP is now reviewing the photo posting process along with the oil spill…
I wonder if the “real-time” video of the capped oil well is the real footage. Maybe it’s some video from a movie set filmed in BP CEO Tony Hayward’s aquarium.
