What’s worst than leaving a bar with a stranger that looked attractive only after you had a couple beers? Leaving the bar and forgetting your companies top secret iPhone prototype….oh and it was your birthday on top of that. Well, that’s what happened to the 27 year old Apple Inc engineer, Gray Powell.

As bad as the news spread about the next generation iPhone getting revealed 3 months ahead of schedule, some are showing some sense of humor about the accident leak. The Apple legend, Steve Wozniak, really known as “Woz,” poked some fun at the the whole losing the companies top secret prototype in a bar situation.

Wozniak, recently wore a shirt reading ” I went drinking with Gray Powell and all I got was a lousy iPhone prototype”, while drinking a beer and looking at his iPhone. Woz, who of course help found Apple with Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne back in 1976, knows what it is like to make a mistake.

Woz told CNET’s commented on the situation saying “It’s a bad accident that could happen to any of us”. This is of course Steve Wozniak talking and not Steve Jobs. I wonder how Jobs is treating this…I’m sure we will see when he gets up on stage at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference at the end of June to officially reveal this next generation iPhone.
