Intrinsity gets gobbled up by Apple

While Apple isn’t hunting down criminals, they are buying chip makers. Apple Inc has acquired a small company called Intrinsity in Austin, TX. Intrinsity is known for making computer chips that go in mobile devices..hint hint.
Apple is always looking for faster processing power using less battery. This may be a good step in the extended battery life in some of Apples products besides the iPhone. It was speculated that the iPad battery life which is from an A5 chip, was made by technology from Intrinsity.
This isn’t the first time Apple has bought a chip company. They bought PA Semi in 2008 for $278 million bucks. We all know that Apple has a ton of money and they sure know how to spend it right.
