Local business owners will be happy about Googles advances with Google Places. Google is currently promoting local business owners to create a directory page. This will in turn help searchers find your business on Google through the search engines new features. People may be a little nervous out how accurate Google is with pin-pointing locations.

Google just launched this new feature in it’s Street Views platform. When your in Street View maps, you will start to see local business listings on the street you are viewing. When navigating a street on Street View, a listing will pop-up indicating what business your looking at. The small pop-up will show the listings name, phone number, address, and rating.

These new features will certainly help Googlers find a specific business in their area easier. This is one of many new features Google has just rolled out which also include Googles Life Photo archive in the images section.
